Part of the course requirements and hoping to be a informative and enriching blog in future for the meek ones in Myanmar. Unfortunately, people do not have the privilege to access to the internet which is the most powerful information resource of this time. For me, this is the great lost to our people and our church and by taking this course I am hoping to help the people in my church out in this expertise. Last September, 2007, there was a demonstration of the Buddhist Monks for the liberation of the people of Myanmar and the bloggers had taken important part in forming and updating the news about this movement. Yet, not many people have access to this kind of media back in Myanmar, more over, they don't have the basic skills to operate computer and internet. Nevertheless, the world had seen what was really happened during that time in Myanmar.
By starting this blog by me, I am willing to find out how to be a good blogger and willing to become resourceful and informative one for the unfortunate ones in Myanmar.

You raise an important issue... that of access... in your reminder that not everyone is priviledged enough to have a computer AND internet access. I'd encourage you to keep reminding us of this reality and to help us help you identify any potential ways to keep the digital divide from growing.
